Undersecretary for Political Affairs meets UN-ESCWA Executive Secretary

New York, Sep. 26 (BNA): Ambassador Khalid Yousif Al Jalahma, Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held talks in New York with Dr. Rola Dashti, Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly in New York.

Al Jalahma highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of its comprehensive development agenda, noting that sustainability is one of the Kingdom’s foreign policy priorities.

Dr. Dashti praised the depth of cooperation with Bahrain and affirmed ESCWA’s readiness to strengthen its partnership with the Kingdom in support of its national development objectives.
