Foreign Minister meets German counterpart

New York, Sep. 26 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Johann Wadephul, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, at the United Nations headquarters in New York on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

The meeting discussed the close relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federal Republic of Germany and frameworks for strengthening bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and cultural domains to serve the common interests of both countries.

The two sides also addressed key regional and international matters of common concern.

Jamal Fares Al Ruwaiei, Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to the UN in New York, and Khaled Yousef Al Jalahma, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, attended the meeting.
