DPRK Weightlifter Sets Three New World Records at 2025 IWF World Championships

Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- DPRK weightlifters are flying the dignified national flag of the DPRK by bagging gold medals one after another and setting new world records at the 2025 International Weightlifting Federation World Championships.
Ri Suk, who proved successful at the 2024 International Weightlifting Federation World Championships and other international games, fully displayed her ability as the super star at the current championships.
She won three gold medals in the women's 63 kg category, setting three new world records with 111kg in snatch, 142 kg in clean and jerk and 253 kg in total.
As of October 5, DPRK players bagged 12 gold medals and set six new world records. -0-
