Flower Baskets to Statues of Great Leaders from Organizations of Overseas Koreans

Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- Organizations of overseas Koreans sent flower baskets to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill here on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
They include the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, the General Association of Koreans in China, the Central Association of Korean Nationals in Russia, the Standing Council of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China, the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Democratic Korean Women in Japan and the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Korean Students in Japan.
The flower baskets were laid at the statues of the great leaders on October 7.
Present there were members of congratulatory groups of Koreans in Japan and the General Association of Koreans in China for celebrating the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK, on a visit to the DPRK
On the same day, flower baskets in the name of the congratulatory group of the General Association of Koreans in China, the congratulatory group of the International Social Confederation of Koreans for celebrating the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK, the letter of loyalty relay delegation of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and a home-visiting group of students in their final year at Korea University of Chongryon were laid at the statues of the great leaders. -0-
