HM King affirms Gaza ceasefire agreement as milestone for regional and global peace

Manama, Oct. 10 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed that the agreement reached to end the war in Gaza marks a day of peace for the Middle East and the world. His Majesty said that this historic step opens new prospects for the peoples of the region to live in security and stability.

His Majesty expressed appreciation to His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, for his efforts and initiatives to support peace in the Middle East, and for his direct role in securing this historic agreement, which reflects the United States’ firm commitment to promoting security and stability in the region.

His Majesty emphasised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s firm and supportive stance towards the agreement to end the war in Gaza, stressing that peace remains the strategic choice and the key to securing development and prosperity for the peoples of the region.

HM the King underscored the importance of all parties to the conflict fully upholding to the terms of the agreement and taking responsibility for its implementation. His Majesty commended the great efforts made by the mediators and highlighted their role in establishing common ground that made this historic achievement possible. His Majesty affirmed that this would consolidate the culture of dialogue and promote international cooperation.
