Saudi Tourism Authority, AROYA Cruises, and Major Sports Cruises Partner to Enhance Sports Tourism

   Riyadh, October 30, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), AROYA Cruises, and Major Sports Cruises have announced a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the Kingdom’s growing position in the sports and tourism sectors and reinforcing its status as a global destination for major events, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
   As part of the Spanish Super Cup tournament in Jeddah in January 2026, this partnership highlights the integration of global football with Saudi hospitality. It offers opportunities to explore the Kingdom through a comprehensive program that showcases diverse tourism attractions and rich cultural heritage. This unique experience combines a passion for football with the joy of discovering Saudi culture and its coastal treasures.
   The initiative offers European visitors the opportunity to explore the Kingdom through organized tours departing from Jeddah. Supervised by the authority and supported by local destination management companies and European tour operators, these tours will showcase the city's prominent historical and cultural landmarks. Highlights include the Jeddah Historic District, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Jeddah Corniche, all scheduled before guests attend the Spanish Super Cup semifinals on January 7–8, 2026. The matches will feature Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Athletic Bilbao.
