Al-Araji From Manama: The Government Has Established A Policy Of "Constructive Dialogue" That Enhances The Stability Of The Region And The World

Manama / NINA /- National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji met on Friday with Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan in the Bahraini capital, Manama, on the sidelines of the 21st Manama Dialogue Conference, in which Iraq is participating, represented by the National Security Advisor.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance security and intelligence cooperation between Iraq and Armenia, as well as developing relations of friendship and partnership in a manner that serves the interests of both friendly nations and their peoples.
Al-Araji congratulated the Armenian side on reaching a peace agreement with Azerbaijan, noting that the agreement represents a significant step toward achieving peace, stability, and development in the region.
Both sides emphasized the importance of promoting peace, building mutual trust, and adopting dialogue and diplomacy as fundamental means for resolving international disputes.
Al-Araji stated that Iraq has overcome major challenges and is now open to regional and international cooperation, adding that the Iraqi government has adopted a constructive dialogue policy that contributes to enhancing the security and stability of the region and the world through a balanced and wise approach to regional and international issues.
For his part, Grigoryan praised the Iraqi government’s policy and its active diplomatic role in helping to spare the region further conflicts, noting that Baghdad’s approach of dialogue and understanding has played a key role in reducing tensions and preventing the escalation of crises in the region. /End
