Training of Skilled Workers in DPRK

 Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- Factories and enterprises across the DPRK are strengthening their technical forces.
The Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex and the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex organize the contests of skilled workers with different jobs and short courses of welders in various forms and methods to raise the skill level of the employees.
The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex set up the system for training technicians and skilled workers, selected promising persons, preferentially sent them to the factory college and the school of skilled workers, thus making successes in training talented persons through practical education. 
The Pyongyang Electric Cable General Factory 326 makes sure that skilled workers take charge of new entrants to improve their technical and skill levels and actively   disseminates science and technology according to their sector and jobs. 
The Pyongyang and Phyongsong school uniform factories conduct the passing-on technique in a responsible way according to jobs and production processes, pay attention to the working and living conditions of skilled workers, thus encouraging them to play the vanguard role. -0-
