The Minister of Construction Meets the Finnish Ambassador to Iraq and Discusses With Him Ways to Strengthen Bilateral Relations

Baghdad /NINA/ -The Minister of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities, Benkin Rekani, met with the Finnish Ambassador to Iraq, Antti Potkonen, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations in the construction sector and the participation of Finnish companies in the ministry's projects across various sectors.

A ministry statement indicated that "the minister emphasized during the meeting that the stability Iraq is witnessing is encouraging foreign companies to enter and participate in the Iraqi market and contribute to the country's construction boom. We hope for the participation of Finnish companies in implementing these projects."

For his part, the Finnish ambassador praised the urban development progress in Iraq, commending the Ministry of Construction's efforts in achieving a clear urban renaissance in the country. /End
