Thai King, Queen Receive Highest Honors on Day 2 of Beijing Visit

BEIJING, Nov 15 (TNA) - Their Majesties King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida were welcomed with the highest state honors by the Chinese government, including a 21-gun salute at Tiananmen Square, on the second day of their official visit to Beijing on Friday.
The royal couple was welcomed at the Great Hall of the People by Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Professor Peng Liyuan.

In their discussion, His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn expressed his pleasure and pride in the closest friendly relations and shared activities between the two nations.
Following the meeting with the President, Their Majesties The King and Queen also held talks with Premier Li Qiang.
The royal itinerary includes laying a wreath at the Monument to the People's Heroes and visiting advanced facilities like the Humanoid Robot Innovation Center and the Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Center.
