Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center Concludes Participation in 61st ISOCARP World Planning Congress
Riyadh, December 04, 2025, SPA -- The Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center concluded its participation in the 61st World Planning Congress of the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP), held in the capital from December 1 to 4, 2025. The event was organized by Riyadh Region Municipality and ISOCARP under the theme “Cities & Regions in Action: Planning Pathways to Resilience and Quality of Life.” It brought together local and international officials and specialists in urban planning and infrastructure.
During the congress, the center received the Planning Process Award for its New Masterplan Endorsement Mechanism Project. The award was received by Executive Vice President for Planning at the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center Eng. Bader Al-Tamimi.
Al-Tamimi also took part in a main panel session with several officials in the urban-planning field. He noted that requests for infrastructure development had increased by 25% this year. The center also delivered four presentations highlighting the institutional and regulatory frameworks guiding infrastructure development and major projects, ensuring collaboration and integrated work with relevant entities.
