FM TO MEET UK, ARAB COUNTERPARTS IN WASHINGTON

SANA'A, Jan. 14 (Saba) - During his imminent visit to Washington on January 20th, Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi is to meet with the British Foreign Secretary David Miliband and some Arab foreign ministers, the weekly 26 September said on Thursday.

Well-informed sources said that al-Qirbi and Miliband would discuss some topics that would be in the agenda of London conference on Yemen to be held on January 28th.

Moreover, al-Qirbi will meet with a number of Arab foreign ministers and brief them on the last developments in the country and the government's efforts to enhance security and stability.

Al-Qirbi would coordinate attitudes with the Arab ministers to realize the goals desired to support Yemen.

The Foreign Minister al-Qirbi will held talks the US secretary of States Hillary Clinton and some officials in the American administration over reinforcing the cooperation in areas of economy, development, security and combating terrorism.
