Deputy Premier meets German ambassador

SANA'A, Jan. 13 (Saba) - Deputy Prime
Minister for Security and Defense Affairs and Minister of Local Administration
Rashad al-Alimi
met here on Wednesday with the German ambassador to Yemen Michael Klor-Berchtold.
Al-Alimi and Klor-Berchtold discussed several issues related to cooperation in
areas of development, economy and security, which would enhance the two countries'
relations.
The Deputy Prime Minister applauded the German diplomat's efforts to promote the
Yemeni-German relations.
He said that the visit of the German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle to Yemen in
such conditions has played a big role in supporting the two countries relations.
Al-Alimi also affirmed the need to enhance the cooperation between the two friendly
countries in various development and security fields.
For his part, the German ambassador affirmed that the visit of Westerwelle was
successful and would be recurred in the future.
