THREE INDONESIANS FOUND ALIVE IN HAITI
Jakarta, Jan 15 (ANTARA) - Three Indonesian citizen who had been reported missing in the earthquake that shook Haiti on Tuesday (12/1) were found safe, Foreign Ministry spokesman Tengku Faizasyah said here on Friday.
The three citizen from Bali are Niluh Made Juini (passport No. A119712), Ni Ketut Yasri Astiti (P754832) and I Gusti Putu Sukerti (N655160).
"This latest information we have received from the Indonesian Permanent Mission in New York which learned from Endang Satriyani, who also survived the earthquake in Haiti," said Faizasyah.
Faizasyah describes the three were found at a hotel in Haiti, where they work. When the earthquake shook Haiti Tuesday (12/1), the hotel where they worked was not badly damaged.
Two Indonesians Endang Satriyani and Yogi Anggoro work as a volunteers for the UN mission to stabilize Haiti (MINUSTAH) in Haiti.
Both survived the ordeal on January 14 while the three others were missing and but found later.
"The evacuation of the five Indonesians is being discussed. Recently, flights are still not operating because of damaged infrastructure," said Faizasyah.***
