Yemen, Kuwait discuss activation of MoU

SANA'A, Jan.16 (Saba) - Yemen and Kuwait
discussed here on Saturday activation of a memo of understanding signed between the
Oil Ministries
of the two brotherly countries in 2003.
The memo of understanding includes strengthening cooperation in fields of oil and
minerals exploration and production, training and others fields.
In the meeting of the technical cooperation committee between the two ministries,
the Kuwaiti side affirmed its desire to increase the Kuwaiti investments in Yemen,
especially
in fields of oil, gas and minerals.
There are Kuwaiti companies operating in Yemen for more than 20 years in
partnership with a number of exploring companies, the Kuwaiti side noted.
