Wearing military uniform, three al-Qaeda elements arrested

SANA'A, Jan. 16( Saba)- The security forces have arrested three al -Qaeda elements =
in Mafrak Alab ,located between
Saada and Jawf provinces on Saturday ,who were disguised in military =
uniforms and carrying weapons , explosives and publications, the =
state-run 26sep .net has reported.
Well-informed sources pointed out that the three elements were fleeing =
from the security forces and the air strikes launched against their =
hideouts in a number of areas,
the 26sep.net has cited.
The arrest of these three terrorists comes after the air strike =
launched on Friday afternoon by the air forces in al-Ajasher area, =
located between Saada and Jawf provinces,
northeast Yemen.
Six al-Qaeda elements, including one top regional leader, were =
reportedly killed in the air strike.
The air strike targeted two vehicles of the al-Qaeda group, including =
Qassim Yahya Mahdi al-Raymi ,the military leader of al-Qaeda in the =
Arabian Peninsula.
Al-Raymi, who was considered the No. 3 leader of Al-Qaeda in the =
Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), was the target of a Yemeni forces-launched air =
strike on 17 December 2009 but
the Yemeni authorities said later that he had survived the raid that =
killed 34 al-Qaida terrorists.
