Yemen, AFESD sign flood disaster protection project agreement

SANA'A, Jan. 16 (Saba)
- Yemen and Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) signed here on
Saturday
an initial agreement for financing Sana'a's flood disaster protection project
amounted to $ 24 million.
The project aims at implementing the main structures and necessary facilities for
flood waters drain safely and efficiently.
After singing the agreement, al-Arhabi hailed the AFESD's continuous contributions
in supporting development process in Yemen, affirming that Yemen values these
contributions
and keens to develop its bilateral cooperation with the AFESD.
