Traffics accidents kill tens last week
SANA'A, Jan. 16 (Saba) - Around 46 people
killed in traffic accidents happened all over the country last week, the General
Traffic Administration
reported on Saturday.
A report of traffic accidents showed that about 312 traffic accidents were taken
place causing the injuries of about 312 people.
The report also demonstrated that the accidents resulted in over YR 68 million losses.
The capital Sana'a came first in terms of the accident number with 105 claimed the
lives of nine people and followed by Taiz governorate with 35 accidents and
Hodeidah governorate
with 23 accidents, according to the report.
The report mentioned many reasons were behind the accidents such as excessive
speed, recklessness and the lack of periodical maintenance.
