SK C&C inks deal for IT cooperation in China

SEOUL, Jan. 18 (Yonhap) -- SK C&C, a South Korean information technology service
provider, said Monday that it has signed a deal with a computer center in
Heilongjiang Province, northeastern China, to cooperate on a joint IT service
business in China.

Under the deal, SK C&C will tap the IT service market in the province in
partnership with the Heilongjiang center, which is under the science and
technology ministry of the Heilongjiang government, the South Korean company
said.
To that end, the two sides will review a plan to set up a joint venture for the
IT services in Harbin, the capital of the province.
In April 2007, SK C&C set up a unit named "SK C&S Systems" in Beijing.
