USAID support for education in Yemen discussed

SANA'A, Jan. 174 (Saba)- Minister of
Education Abdul Salam al-Jaufi held a meeting on Sunday with the director of US
Agency
for International Development (USAID) in Yemen and political and economic attaché at
US embassy in Sana'a.
The meeting focused on supported presented by the agency in field of education in
Mareb, Shabwa, Hadramout, Rimah and Hodeidah provinces within the Middle East
Partnership
Initiative (MEPI) at sum of $ 30 million.
The minister expressed appreciation for the USAID support to improve basic
education in Yemen.
The USAID director valued efforts of the ministry to enhance the education process
in the country.
