Al-Alimi meets US, UK ambassadors

SANA'A, Jan.18 (Saba) - Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs and Minister of Local Administration Rashad al-Alimi
met here on Monday with the U.S. ambassador in Sana'a Stephen Seche.

In the meeting, they discussed a number of issues relating to the developmental,
economic and security aspects and preparations for the London conference to be held
end
of the current month.
Al-Alimi praised the U.S. support, affirming the need to enhance the cooperation
between the two friendly countries in the different developmental fields.
On another hand, al-Alimi also held talks with the British ambassador in Sana'a Tim
Torlot, dealing with the joint cooperation issues between the two friendly
countries
in the development fields.
He expressed his appreciation for the support of the British government and people
presented to Yemen in the development fields.
For his part, the British ambassador confirmed his country's keenness to keep its
cooperation with Yemen in the diverse fields.
The two sides reviewed the preparations for the London conference.
