FM meets Arab diplomats in Canada

OTTAWA, Jan. 18 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met here on Monday, on the sidelines of his visit to Canada, with Arab
ambassadors in the Canadian capital, Ottawa.

Al-Qirbi briefed the ambassadors on the political developments in Yemen, indicating
to the government's efforts in the development process and in encountering the
different
challenges in the country.
The meeting also dealt with the Arab-Canadian relations and ways of enhancing them.
On the other hand, the Minister also met with a number of Canadian officials from
the government.
The meeting discussed the possible opportunities to promote cooperation relations
between Yemen and Canada.
He also valued the Canadian positive position towards Yemen in all circumstances,
affirming the keenness to develop the cooperation relations between them.
