GOVT SELLS RP950 BILLION STATE SHARIA BONDS
Jakarta, Jan 19 (ANTARA) - The government sold state sharia bonds worth Rp950 billion in an auction on Tuesday to meet part of financing target in the 2010 state budget.
The sharia bonds included series IFR0003 which is the reopening of the existing issue, Director General of Debt Management at the Finance Ministry Rahmat Waluyanto said in a statement.
The other sharia bonds are series IFR0005, IFR0006, and IFR0007.
In the auction the government received Rp1.87 trillion bids for the four series of state sharia bonds but it only approved Rp950 billion of the bids, he said.
The government received Rp313 billion bids for the series IFR003, Rp178 billion bids for the series IFR0005, Rp116 billion bids for the series IFR006 and Rp790 billion bids for the series IFR0007.
The series IFR003 carries a yield of 8.69618 percent and will mature on September 15, 2015, the series IFR0005 9.1923 percent January 15, 2017 and the series IFR0007 10.01998 percent January 15, 2025.
