Mitsubishi Motors sells revamped Pajero in S. Korea
SEOUL, Jan. 20 (Yonhap) -- Mitsubishi Motors Corp., Japan's No. 4 carmaker, said Wednesday it has begun selling a revamped Pajero sport-utility vehicle in South Korea as it hopes to increase sales here.
The local price of the 2010 version of Pajero was set at 64.9 million won
(US$57,300), down 2.4 million won from a previous version of the SUV,
Mitsubishi's Korean unit said in a statement.
The company said it was considering cutting prices of other models, without
elaborating further.
In 2008, Mitsubishi started selling its Lancer Evolution sedan and Outlander
sport-utility vehicle in South Korea, making it the fourth Japanese automaker to
enter the South Korean market.
