STX Group, Abu Dhabi-based firm agree on business cooperation

SEOUL, Jan. 20 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's STX Group said Wednesday that it has signed a deal with an Abu Dhabi-based company to boost cooperation in the shipbuilding sector.

Under the deal with Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB), the South Korean group will
provide know how and consultation on expanding facilities to the company.
STX Group and ADSB will also cooperate on winning new shipbuilding orders and
joint marketing.
ADSB specializes in the construction, repair and refit of naval, military and
commercial vessels.
