YEMEN CANCELS GRANTING VISAS IN AIRPORTS

SANA'A, Jan. 21 (Saba) - Yemen has decided not to grant visas for foreigners in Yemeni airports any more, the state-run 26september weekly reported Thursday.

The taken procedures come within the government's efforts to combat terrorism by preventing the infiltration of any terrorists.

Moreover, visas will only be granted through Yemen embassies and after taken permissions from the security concerned authorities which will identify the passengers' identities.

It is worth to mention that, granting visas in Yemeni airports was applied before for promoting tourism in Yemen.
