KPK QUESTIONS PT MASARO DIRECTOR
Jakarta, Jan 22 (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Friday questioned PT Masaro Radiokom director Putranefo Prayugo for alleged corruption in the provision of an Integrated Radio Communication System (SKRT) to the Forestry Ministry.
"The KPK questioned Putranefo Prayugo as a witness in the alleged corruption case," KPK spokesman Johan Budi said, adding that KPK was seeking information from Prayugo to complete the dossier of Wandojo Siswanto, former head of the Forestry Ministry's finance and planning bureau.
Johan Budi said Wandjojo Siswanto had been named a suspect in the case.
He added that although Putranefo Prayugo was questioned as a witness, he had also been named a suspect in the case that happened some time between 2006 and 2007.
Putranefo arrived at the KPK building at around 9 on Friday morning and at 2 p.m. he was still being grilled. But there was still no official information about the substance of the questioning.
The KPK had so far questioned a number of parties for their alleged involvement in the case. The KPK had even forcefully picked up several witnesses who refused to meet the KPK's summonses.
The two witnesses who were forcefully picked up by the KPK were Tri Data Dewanto and Sigit Prayogo, both PT Masaro employees.***
