TWO ELEPHANTS DISTURBING W LAMPUNG VILLAGERS

Liwa, W Lampung, Jan 22 (ANTARA) - Two wild elephants had in the last two weeks been posing a nuisance to Pekon villagers, Sukau subdistrict, W Lampung regency.

"The giant animals are still roaming in the village, and local security personnel and the villagers had been trying to drive them away but they would not budge," the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park chief manager for Krui area Ahmad Sutardi said in Sukau, West Lampung Friday.
