MANDALA CONDUCTS EXTRA PONTIANAK - JAKARTA FLIGHTS IN FEBRUARY

Pontianak, Jan 22 (ANTARA) - Mandala Airlines will be conducting extra flights on the Jakarta - Pontianak route in February 2010 along with an increase in the number of passengers on the occasion of the Chinese New Year.

Manager of Mandala Airlines's Pontianak office M Zulistian said here Friday that the occupation rate from Jakarta to Pontianak on the occasion of the Chinese New Year on February 14 has reached 100 percent.

Mandala predicted that the occupation rate will continue to increase during the Chinese new year celebrations.

Currently Mandala is serving the Pontianak - Jakarta route once daily, from Jakarta at 06:00 and arrives in Pontianak at 07:25 local time. Then from Pontianak at 07:55 and back in Jakarta at 08:05 local time.

In the extra flights leaving Jakarta at 15:35 and arrival at Pontianak at 16:45, and from Pontianak at 17:15 and back in Jakarta at 18:35 local time.

On February 25, from Jakarta at 09:05 and arrival in Pontianak at 10:25, linked with the route to Pekanbaru, Surabaya and Jogjakarta.

Then from Pontianak to Jakarta at 10:55 and back in Jakarta at 12:15, and linked with the flights to Pekanbaru and Denpasar.

Mandala uses Airbus A319s on its Pontianak - Jakarta flights.
