Yemen orders counting refugees, infiltrators

SANA'A, Jan. 24 (Saba) - The Interior
ministry has ordered all security authorities in the capital and other Yemeni cities
to
count refugees and infiltrators into the country.
The move is aimed at having knowledge about the numbers of refugees and their
places to put them under permanent surveillance, the ministry said, adding that
repots on them
should be presented it.
Under the data to be collected, illegal migrants would be deported after the
National Refugee Affair Committee earlier gave all refugees in the country a
two-month deadline
to register themselves to authorities.
Apart from the topic, authorities continued to arrest African infiltrators at
coastlines, with 33 Africans including 12 Somalis held in Hudaida and Taiz in
recent days.
