UK TO CONTINUE TO DEVELOP COOPERATION WITH YEMEN

SANA'A, Jan.24 (Saba) - The British ambassador to Yemen Tim Torlot
affirmed here on Sunday his country's keenness to continue to
develop its cooperation with Yemen in the various fields.

This came during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister for
Security and Defense Affairs and Minister of Local Administration
Rashad al-Alimi and the British ambassador.

In the meeting, the two sides dealt with the bilateral cooperation
issues between the two friendly countries, especially the
developmental, economic and security fields and ways of boosting
them.

They discussed the underway preparations for the London meeting on
supporting Yemen in the developmental and economic areas as well as
the security field.

Al-Alimi praised the level of the current cooperation between Yemen
and UK, valuing the UK's attention to expand and develop the joint
cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields.
