GERMANY TO CONTINUE ITS SUPPORT TO YEMEN

SANA'A, Jan.24 (Saba) - The German ambassador in Sana'a Michael
Klor-Berchtold confirmed on Sunday his country's keenness to
continue to offer all aspects of support to Yemen, so as to enhance
potentials of stability and development in the country.

This came during a meeting gathered Minister of Planning and
International Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi and the German
ambassador.

The two sides discussed the underway preparations for the London
international meeting on Yemen to be held next Wednesday and the
agenda devoted for supporting development and reforms in Yemen.

They reviewed the current cooperation aspects between Yemen and
Germany in the different fields and means of boosting them so as to
harmonize with the common aspirations.

Al-Arhabi praised the German government's economic contributions to
support and enhance the development efforts in Yemen, affirming
Yemen's keenness to strengthen the bilateral cooperation relations
with Germany.
