GTZ TO SUPPORT TRAINING YEMENI CADRES IN WATER SECTOR

SANA'A, Jan.26 (Saba) - Head of the General Corporation for Water
and Sanitation in Sana'a Fuad Abdulatif discussed with the German
Technical Cooperation program (GTZ) cooperation in field of human
resources development in the corporation and water sector in general.

In the meeting, the German side expressed its readiness to continue
cooperation with the corporation in regard to the programs of
training for the corporation cadres, especially new cadres in the
branches of the corporation.

The two sides dealt with the contributions to be presented by the
German program for operating the human resources center in the water
corporation, which will serve water sector in general.

On another hand, the two sides reviewed activities of the German
consulting company in charge of assessment of the human resources
department in the water sector in Yemen as well as the company's
annual plans for that.

Head of the water corporation affirmed the important role of the GTZ
in supporting the water sector in Yemen, especially in the human
resources development.

He noted to the continuous efforts of the corporation in cooperation
with the German friends to complete establishment of the human
resources development center.
