YEMENI HIGH-RANKING DELEGATION IN LONDON

SANA'A, Jan. 26 (Saba) - A high-ranking delegation from the Yemeni
government headed by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar arrived on Tuesday
in London, UK.

The delegation is to take part in the London Conference on Yemen
that will kick off on Wednesday.

The meeting will bring together development partners of Yemen to
discuss and support the country's efforts to boost national economy
and fight terror.

The meeting would be co-chaired by Mujawar and UK's Prime Minister
Gordon Brown.

The meeting, that was called by Britain early this month, represents
an important turning point in Yemen's partnership with Arab
countries and world friends towards achieving sustainable
development, said Mujawar upon departure.

The goals of the London conference are clear and no way for
interpretations, he said, adding that the main theme would be
discussing development besides tackling terrorism and ways to root
out extremists.

The delegation accompanying the premier included Deputy Prime
Minister for Defense and Security Affairs and Minister of Local
Administration Rashad al Alimi, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic
Affairs and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul
Karim al Arhabi, Minister of Civil Service and Social Security Yahya
Al-Shuaybi and others.
