YEMEN TO TAKE PART IN OMAN HEALTHCARE QUALITY CONFERENCE

SANA'A, Jan. 29 (Saba) – Yemen is set to take part in the second international conference on healthcare quality that Oman hosts on 1-3 February.

Director General of the Teaching al Wahdah Hospital in Aden Mohammed Salim Ghurab said 13 Yemeni medical doctors will attend the Muscat meeting in reply to the invitation of the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital.

The participants will discuss ways to raise awareness about providing perfect primary healthcare, management of healthcare quality, in addition to acquiring knowledge about the new in this area as well as setting out improved healthcare strategies in participating countries.

They will exchange experience in management of healthcare quality also.

On the margins of the conference, a twinning agreement between Teaching al Wahda Hospital and Sultan Qaboos University Hospital would be signed, Ghurab said.
