COURT TO PASS SENTENCE ON ISRAEL-SPY SUSPECTS NEXT APRIL



SANA'A, Jan. 30 (Saba) - Penal Court adjourned Saturday the case of
three people accused of espionage for Israel until April 3rd to pass
its sentence, 26sep.net said on Saturday.

The accused are Bassam Abdullah Fadhel al-Haidari, Emad Ali Saad
al-Raimi and Ali Abdullah Mahfal.

The trail of the suspects was started on January 10th, 2009. They
were accused of illegitimate contact with a foreign country and also
contact with Israel through an email which he sent to Prime Minister
Ehud Olmert of Israeli.

The e-mail read, "We are the Jihad Organization and you are Jews but
you are honest and we are ready for anything".

The accusation said that the Israeli response included the
following: "We are ready to support you to be a stumbling block to
the Middle East and we will support you as agents".

The prosecution accused them of disseminating and publishing false
news and information under the name of the "Islamic Jihad
Organization".

It said that the organization announced it had carried out the
attacks on the security buildings in Hadramout and on the US
embassy, and that it targets the government and foreign interests.
