Prince Khalid Al-Faisal Chairs 7th Meeting of Informal Settlement Development Committee

Jeddah, January 31, 2010, SPA -- Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid
Al-Faisal, who is also Chairman of the Makkah Region's Informal Settlements
Development Project Executive Committee chaired the 7th meeting of the
Committee.
The meeting dealt with developments in addressing informal settlements in Taif
Governorate and discussed the issuance of building permits in selected areas to
start addressing informal settlement project there.
The meeting also covered the mechanism of valuing real estate and dealing with
properties in the region, as well as measures undertaken to develop the social
aspect of informal settlement residents by the assigned sub-committees.
