Ssangyong Motor's auto sales rise to 4,421 units in Jan

SEOUL, Feb. 1 (Yonhap) -- Ssangyong Motor Co., a South Korean carmaker under
bankruptcy protection, said Monday it sold 4,421 units last month, up from 1,644
units sold for the same period a year ago.

Domestic sales jumped 75.4 percent to 2,015 units and exports more than
quadrupled to 2,406 units, Ssangyong said in a regulatory filing.
