IDB Approves $196.4 Million for Development Projects

Jeddah, February 01, 2010, SPA -- The Council of the Executive Directors of the
Islamic Development Bank (IDB) approved at a meeting in Rabat today extension
of $196.4 million to help finance several
development projects in member countries and assist Muslim communities in
non-member states.


The two-day meeting was chaired by Dr Ahmad Mohammed Ali, the IDB's President.

The newly approved development projects will be implemented in Mauritania,
Uganda, Pakistan and Senegal.
