Arab Geologists Association warns against Israeli artificial earthquake
Amman, February 02, 2010, SPA -- Bahjat Al Adwan, the President of the Arab
Geologists Association (AGA) warned here today of an Israeli artificial
earthquake that could lead to cave-in the Blessed Mosque of AL Aqsa.
Al Adwan, who is also the President of the Jordanian Geological Association
said in an interview published today, that the only scientific way to save the
Blessed Mosque of Al Al-Aqsa is re-injecting and filling with cement the
Israeli drilled craters under the Mosque.
He warned of the continued Israeli diggings and aggression under Al Aqsa
Mosque, which he said could lead to a weakening of its foundations. "However,
further works at this pace, will prompt the mosque demolition in the event of
unusual earthquakes that are caused by changes in tectonic plates."
"In addition, the craters caused by the Israeli aggression during the search
for the alleged temple led to a weakening of its ability to resist seismic
activity compared to other facilities' buildings, he added.
With reference to prospects that Israeli artificial earthquake designed to
weakening the foundations of Al Aqsa Mosque, Al-Adwan noted a difference
between natural earthquakes and artificial ones, illustrating that seismic
observatories at the Jordanian Natural Resources Authority (NRA) is fully
capable of distinguishing between real and artificial earthquakes.
