Hanjin launches two-day express service from S. Korea to U.S.

SEOUL, Feb. 3 (Yonhap) -- Hanjin Corp., the logistics unit of Hanjin Group, has
launched a two-day express shipping service from South Korea to the United
States, the company said Wednesday.

The express service guarantees door-to-door delivery to Los Angeles, something
that previously took three to five days. More destinations in the U.S. will be
made available soon for the service, Hanjin said.
Hanjin, which originally offered ocean shipping services only to destinations in
the western U.S., will also expand the services to the eastern part of the
country, it said.
The company plans to implement a service guarantee under which 50 percent of fees
will be refunded when shipments fail to delivered within the specified time.
