YEMENI-SAUDI COORDINATION COUNCIL TO BE HELD SOON



SANA'A, Feb. 04 (Saba) - The 19th session of the Yemeni-Saudi Coordination Council will be held in Riyadh on February 26 – 28 under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Ali Mujawar and Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz., the weekly 26 September reported Thursday.

Deputy Minister for International Cooperation Hisham Sharaf said that the preparatory committee is to be held two days before convening the coordination council in order to prepare all drafts of agreements and protocols to be signed in the coordination council meetings.

Sharaf affirmed that the Yemeni-Saudi cooperation is going in its right direction, noting that Saudi Arabia is one of Yemen's prominent partners in the development and economic cooperation fields.

It is expected that the council meetings will achieve promising results which in return will promote the distinctive historical relations ties linked Yemen and Saudi Arabia, he added.

The Premier received on Wednesday a letter from Saudi Crown Prince, in which Prince Sultan invited him to attend the coordination council to be held in Riyadh on February 27.
