YJS TO DISCUSS REFUGEES CONDITIONS IN YEMEN

SANA'A, Feb.04 (Saba) – The Yemen Journalists Syndicate (YJS) is to organize an open meeting on Saturday to discuss the current conditions of refugees in Yemen in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The participants will deal with the different issues relating to the refugees and the role of the UNHCR and the National Commission for Refugees with participation of senior officials of the legal protection at the UNHCR and representative of the national commission in Foreign Ministry.

The meeting is a beginning of the coming cooperation between the YJS and the UNHCR, including a number of media and training activities and field visits to be carried out by the interested journalists and specialists in the refugees' affairs.
