TOUGH YEMEN SECURITY MEASURES AS WORLD AIRPORTS SEE SAME

SANA'A, Feb. 04 (Saba) - Yemen is toughening security measures at its airports, in a move that comes in line with precautionary measures taken at international airports after the attempted terrorist attack on a U.S.-bound jetliner on Christmas Day.

The measures included installing modern check-in systems.

Yemen recently received a certificate from the International Civil Aviation Organization approving the measures and saying they conform to air transport safety standards.
