Symposium on Yemeni-Omani cultural exchange to kick off Sunday

MUSCAT, Feb.06 (Saba)
- A symposium on the Yemeni-Omani cultural interrelations is to kick off on Omani
capital,
Muscat, on Sunday, organized by the Omani Studies Center (OSC) of Qabus University
in coordination with the Omani embassy in Sana'a.
This event celebrates the strong ties between the two countries and is meant to
reinforce cultural and research cooperation between the OSC and other research
centers and
institutions in Yemen.
The symposium will discuss 24 papers presented by academicians focusing on the
joint historical aspects between the two countries.
In a statement to Saba, Head of the OSC Mohsen al-Kandadi said that the symposium
aims at reading the cultural dimension between the two countries.
The Omani ambassador in Sana'a affirmed that this symposium comes within the frame
of strengthening the Yemeni-Omani relations.
