SUSPECT IN THREATENING TO BOMB EMBASSIES IN SANA'A ARRESTED



SANA'A, Feb. 06 (Saba) - Police have arrested a person in charge of
threatening to bomb foreign embassies in Sana'a, a source at the
interior ministry said on Saturday.

The source also said that the person also threatened to assassinate
senior Yemeni leaderships.

The person was arrested in Sana'a city with stolen car, the source
added.

The source made it clear that the authorities are investigating with
the person to send them soon to the prosecution after finalizing the
investigations.

Yemen has been intensifying its crackdown on alleged hideouts of
al-Qaeda.

Yemen's war against al-Qaeda resulted in killing many leaders of
al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) including the top regional
leader of al-Qaeda Qassim Yahya Mahdi al-Raymi.

Interior Ministry has said that Yemen's war on terrorism and
al-Qaeda would continue almost daily to prevent al-Qaeda operations
against any national and foreign interests.
