Ex-S. Korean baseball player dies after 10-years in vegetative state
SEOUL, Feb. 7 (Yonhap) -- Lim Soo-hyuk, former catcher of South Korean baseball
club the Lotte Giants, died Sunday after spending nearly 10 years in a vegetative
state, his family said. He was 41.
Lim had been in a vegetative state since he collapsed during a game in 2000 and
did not immediately receive emergency treatment.
