GACA Opens Bids for Commercial Operations of Airports' VIP Terminals

Jeddah, February 07, 2010, SPA -- The General Authority of Civil Aviation
(GACA) has opened bids for the project of commercial operation for the VIP
terminals at the Kingdom's regional and international airports for the
qualified companies of the private sector.


This development aims at enabling the private sector to positively contribute
to the investment projects in the civil aviation sector as well as improving
the services extended at the airports.


This opening of bids are finalized after feasibility studies had been conducted
by the General Authority of Civil Aviation in this regard.


The GACA has set February 14, 2010, as the last date for receiving the
applications of the companies in this respect.
