Asiana Airlines, Air Busan sign agreement on joint operation


SEOUL, Feb. 8 (Yonhap) -- Asiana Airlines Inc., South Korea's No.2 airliner,
signed an agreement with Air Busan, a South Korean budget carrier, on Monday
ahead of their joint operation on routes linking the nation's southern port city
of Busan with two Japanese cities starting next month, Asiana said.

Under the pact signed at the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Asiana
Airlines will offer two round trips a day between Busan and Fukuoka starting
March 29 and Busan and Osaka from April 26 on a code-sharing basis with Air
Busan.
Asiana Airlines, the largest shareholder of Air Busan, has been offering a round
trip daily on the routes.
