STX Offshore wins US$70 mln order for two tankers
SEOUL, Feb. 9 (Yonhap) -- STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Co., a South Korean shipyard, said Tuesday that it has won a deal to build two tankers for around US$70 million.
Under the deal with L.G.R. di Navigazione S.p.A of Italy, STX Offshore will
deliver the two vessels by 2012.
STX Offshore has won deals to build six bulk carriers for European customers so
far this year.
Shares of STX Offshore were trading at 11,200 won on the Seoul bourse as of 10:05
a.m., up 0.5 percent.
